In recent weeks brave survivors have been able to anonymously come forward to share their stories of sexual abuse; using the site #Everyone’s invited. Many survivors are disclosing for the first time, others are trying to be heard again. The hope is someone gets the message that no matter what social, economic background you come from every survivor has a right to be believed, heard and offered support. If you find yourself in a position of needing support please refer to our useful links page for immediate support. Alternatively there is lots of advice and support on all of our web pages for survivors, parents and professionals.
There is a dedicated helpline staffed by the NSPCC to call should you want to report abuse in education Please contact the helpline on 0800 136 663 Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm or 9am – 6pm at the weekends or email firstname.lastname@example.org
For those of us who are here to support survivors, in particular school staff, we are here to support you. Please do get in touch using our dedicated inbox email@example.com or call on 07590627693.
Our partners SARSAS can also be contacted as they offer training around consent and healthy relationships. They offer this for students and for teachers. The details for this are; firstname.lastname@example.org https://www.sarsas.org.uk/professional-training/
