Our purpose is to upskill frontline professionals who already have a relationship with children and young people affected by child sexual abuse.
We are proud to have trained over 2500 professionals across Somerset since we started in 2017. We have created a selection of pre-recorded bitesize courses to allow for a deeper dive into trauma knowledge, as well as our virtual and face-to-face 'live' training days. All of our training is available free of charge.
Our current focus is our FREE live training, to help professionals provide more effective support to the children and young people who their organisation works with. We are currently running our Foundation course and we hope to re-launch our Advanced course in the near future.
Live Training
The Foundation level and Advanced level courses are run in person aimed at frontline professionals working with families in the Somerset Council area. They are all day events usually 9:30am to 4pm with a small mixed group of delegates.

Forums & Workshops
Our Forums & Workshops happen three times a year usually lasting for a couple of hours coving a wide variaty of topic. They are a mix of in person events or virtual offering professionals an opportunity to find out more about Phoenix, gain access to expert speakers, learn from peers, see latest research, etc.
