For professionals

Somerset Phoenix Project is a small service providing support, training, consultation and signposting to professionals supporting children, young people and families affected by child sexual abuse (CSA).

Training & Events

Our purpose is to upskill frontline professionals who already have a relationship with children and young people affected by child sexual abuse (CSA). So they can improve the effectiveness of their support.

Consultation Services

A central part of the Phoenix offer is our consultation service for professionals seeking support to devise an effective action plan for young people impacted by CSA.

Our team can offer a specialist consultation tailored to the specific case this can be:

  • a multi-professional meeting relating to the child/family and involving key professionals providing support
  • an individual consultation with a lead professional
  • a smaller systemic meeting of key professionals and parents/carers.

Professional Forums

These happen three times a year. They last two hours, offering professionals an opportunity to find out more about Phoenix, gain access to expert speakers, learn from peers, see latest research, etc. The next Professional Forum will be part of our launch event on 21st March.
